Commissions

I am available for both commercial and private commissions in any media and style I use. Rates for commercial work are industry standard, but negotiable for the underfunded.

Rates for private commissions vary with the complexity of the request, starting at around $25 for a single-character ink piece with minimal background. Large, high-detail pieces, such as the Exalted Portrait, run $200-$300. If executed in real media, the buyer will receive the original, but no printing rights. If executed digitally, the buyer receives a single, signed and numbered print, and also no rights. I retain the right to make and sell prints of commissioned work unless otherwise negotiated. I require 50% of the commission fee to be paid once a basic sketch has been approved.

Chibi/cuteified portraits are $10 each, $15 with basic flat color. I draw these between 3"x5" and 5"x7".

I also accept commissions for custom calligraphy and illumination. Fees for these depend on complexity and authenticity of materials (more for real gold, for instance.)
